Adults are recommended to drink 1.5 to 2 litres of water a day – depending on the temperature or physical activity. Apart from the fact that it allows us to survive drinking water carry a number of other positive factors.

The first of the factor, which improves our form and figure, is a proper diet, as well as proper hydration. When we supply our body with enough water, our metabolism increases, resulting in a faster and more correct weight loss process.

By reaching for water more often, we make our body feel less hungry. This affects the desire to snack caloric refreshments between meals – the more we drink, the longer we feel full.

Water is also the best liquid to quench your thirst. Juices and colourful drinks actually increase the feeling of hunger. In addition, they contain large amounts of sugar, which makes us to absorb extra calories.

Training essential

The second most important factor that should lead us to a specific goal is physical activity. In order for the training to bring satisfactory results, we must not only focus on physical exercises, but also on proper hydration. When we drink the right amount of water before, during and after training, our body works longer and more efficiently, because the body has more energy and becomes stronger. As a result, the same exercises seem easier to perform than when we have a shortage of water in the body.

One of the effects of losing excessive kilograms is a change in figure. To look good and healthy, we cannot focus only on fat loss, but also on the condition of our skin. Drinking water will make our body regain its healthy look and gain firmness and elasticity. This is because lotions act like a balm, but from the inside out. It also affects the natural protective barrier of the skin and protects it from the harmful effects of sunlight, frost or wind. Water also has other properties: it flushes out toxins from the body, slows down skin aging and prevents the formation of cellulite.
